CB Approval
The International Electrotechnical Commission system for Conformity Testing to Standards for Electrical Equipment has developed the IECEE CB Scheme, for specific types of electrical and electronic equipment. The scheme enables the mutual recognition of third party test results between member countries.

CB member countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, UK, USA, Yugoslavia.
SASO Approval -

Products are required to meet essential requirements relating to safety, national security and the Islamic religion as indicated in Saudi standards. The products covered include toys, electrical and electronics, automotive and chemical. Where no applicable Saudi standards exist, an acceptable international standard may have been approved by the SASO.

Sixty-six product categories are covered; most are purchased and used by consumers. These categories are divided into five groups which include Toys, Electronics and Electrical Products, Chemical Products and Others.
